Carrabec Cobras (North Anson, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Temple Academy Bereans (Waterville, ME), 20-0 in a league challenge.

The Cobras now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richmond for a Class D South challenge on Thursday, May 9. Carrabec will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Temple Academy falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Bereans host Vinalhaven (Vinalhaven, ME) to battle the Vikings in a Class D South challenge on Wednesday, May 15. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 2-6. Vinalhaven lost 25-5 in their recent league challenge against Valley (Bingham, ME)
