In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Centennial Cougars softball team scored a nice 11-3 win over the Elk River Elks.
Coming up next, the Cougars encounter the Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN) in a Northwest Suburban outing, on Thursday, May 9. Centennial will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Tornadoes enter the outing with a 8-7 record after their 6-1 league loss to Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN).
The Elks (3-12) will now prepare for their outing against Buffalo (Buffalo, MN). The Bison enter the non-league outing with a 2-11 record. In their last outing, Buffalo was routed by Edina (Edina, MN), 5-2, in a non-league outing.
