Central Lake Trojans (Central Lake, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pellston Hornets (Pellston, MI), 13-11 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Forest Area for a Ski-Valley challenge on Friday, May 10. Central Lake will face a Warriors squad coming off a 19-2 non-league loss to Manton (Manton, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 0-9.

With the loss, Pellston falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Forest Area (Fife Lake, MI) to face the Warriors in a Ski-Valley match on Monday, May 13.
