The Century Panthers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Kasson-Mantorville Komets to 2 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Century improves its record to 6-5 on the year. The Panthers travel to Mayo (Rochester, MN) to clash with the Spartans in a Big 9 game on Thursday, May 9. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 3-12. Mayo lost 8-2 in their recent league game against Mankato East (Mankato, MN)

In their next game, the Komets clash with the Lourdes Eagles (Rochester, MN) in a Hiawatha Valley game, on Monday, May 13. Kasson-Mantorville will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 6-10 record after their 9-6 league win over Goodhue (Goodhue, MN).
