Chaska Hawks (Chaska, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Waconia Wildcats (Waconia, MN), 14-0 in a league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Prague for a Metro West challenge on Thursday, May 9. Chaska will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 12-5 non-league win over St. Louis Park (St. Louis Park, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 12-1.

With the loss, Waconia falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Chanhassen (Chanhassen, MN) to battle the Storm in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 10. The Storm enter the challenge with a record of 5-5. Chanhassen won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Kennedy (Bloomington, MN)
