Meadville Bulldogs (Meadville, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Conneaut Area Eagles (Linesville, PA), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to General McLane for a District 10 Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, May 14.

With the loss, Conneaut Area falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA) to face the Ramblers in a District 10 Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, May 14. The Ramblers enter the challenge with a record of 12-6. Cathedral Prep lost 13-2 in their recent league challenge against McDowell (Erie, PA)
