Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Northeast Eagles (Pasadena, MD) and the visiting Crofton (Gambrills, MD), witnessed Northeast's softball squad tip Crofton by a count of 5-1.

The Eagles now sport a 15-3 record. They play next when they travel to Arundel for a non-league match on Monday, May 13. Northeast will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Bennett (Salisbury, MD). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-11.

With the loss, Crofton moves to 15-4 on the season. The travel to Old Mill (Millersville, MD) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Monday, May 13. The Patriots go into the match with a record of 6-13. Old Mill won 16-6 in their recent league match against Meade (Fort Meade, MD)
