Pennsylvania High School Softball - Honesdale thwarted by Holy Cross

The Honesdale Hornets softball team (Honesdale, PA), was routed 12-1 in Wednesday's league test with the visiting Holy Cross Crusaders (Dunmore, PA)

Coming up next, the Crusaders clash with the Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 10. Holy Cross will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record. The Comets enter the outing with a 11-5 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Delaware Valley (Milford, PA).

The Hornets (3-14) will now prepare for their outing against Mid Valley (Throop, PA). The Spartans enter the Lackawanna 3 outing with a 17-1 record. In their last outing, Mid Valley ran past Riverside (Taylor, PA), 7-2, in a league outing.
