Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL), 10-1 in a league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 25-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oswego for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 10. Sycamore will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 21-11 league win over Yorkville (Yorkville, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 20-8.

With the loss, Kaneland falls to 9-11 on the campaign. The Knights host Morris (Morris, IL) to battle the Redskins in a Interstate Eight challenge on Monday, May 13. The Redskins enter the challenge with a record of 16-10. Morris lost 5-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL)
