In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting St. John-Vianney Lancers softball team scored a nice 17-1 win over the Matawan Regional Huskies.

Coming up next, the Lancers battle the St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings (Staten Island, NY) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, May 8. St. John-Vianney will attempt to upgrade on its 18-1 season record.

The Huskies (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against Point Pleasant Beach (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ). The Garnet Gulls enter the non-league outing with a 11-2 record. In their last outing, Point Pleasant Beach ran past St. Rose (Belmar, NJ), 23-1, in a league outing.
