Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Yorkville Foxes (Yorkville, IL), 4-3 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 23-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Plainfield North for a Suburban Prairie - South challenge on Thursday, May 9. Minooka will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 12-5 league win over Oswego East (Oswego, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 8-15.

With the loss, Yorkville falls to 14-11 on the campaign. The Foxes host Oswego (Oswego, IL) to battle the Panthers in a Suburban Prairie - South challenge on Thursday, May 9. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 19-8. Oswego won 14-2 in their recent league challenge against West Aurora (Aurora, IL)
