New York High School Softball - Nyack holds off Tappan Zee

The Nyack Red Hawks (Upper Nyack, NY) softball the host Tappan Zee Dutchmen (Orangeburg, NY), 4-2 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Red Hawks (10-7) will now prepare for their bout against Pearl River (Pearl River, NY). The Pirates go into the Section 1 II - B bout with a 11-5 record. In their last bout, Pearl River by Clarkstown South (West Nyack, NY), 11-9, in a non-league bout.

The Dutchmen now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Nanuet for a Section 1 II - B bout on Friday, May 10. Tappan Zee will confront a Golden Knights squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Clarkstown North (New City, NY). The Golden Knights record now stands at 3-7.
