Virginia High School Softball - Rockbridge County gets by Parry McCluer

The Rockbridge County Wildcats got by the visiting Parry McCluer Fighting Blues softball squad by a count of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Wildcats (5-12) will now prepare for their battle against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Dragons go into the non-league battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, William Monroe was edged by Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
The Fighting Blues now sport a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Eastern Montgomery for a Pioneer battle on Thursday, May 9. Parry McCluer will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 11-6 non-league loss to James River (Buchanan, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-4.
