Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) and the visiting Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL), witnessed Prospect's softball squad tip Wheeling by a count of 8-1.

The Knights now sport a 11-12 record. They play next when they travel to Elk Grove for a Mid-Suburban East match on Friday, May 10. Prospect will face a Grenadiers squad coming off a 7-3 league win over Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Grenadiers record now stands at 16-7.
