Victor Blue Devils (Victor, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets (Henrietta, NY), 9-3 in a league challenge.

The Blue Devils now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host Hilton for a Class AA challenge on Thursday, May 9. Victor will face a Cadets squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Churchville-Chili (Churchville, NY). The Cadets record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Rush-Henrietta falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Royal comets host Liverpool (Liverpool, NY) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 6-6. Liverpool lost 6-1 in their recent league challenge against Baldwinsville (Baldwinsville, NY)
