Salmon Savages (Salmon, ID) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host West Jefferson Panthers (Terreton, ID), 12-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Savages now own a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Firth for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 10. Salmon will face a Cougars squad coming off a 12-8 non-league loss to North Fremont (Ashton, ID). The Cougars record now stands at 10-12.

With the loss, West Jefferson falls to 8-13 on the campaign.
