Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Thornton Fractional North Meteors (Calumet City, IL), 10-0 in a league challenge.
The Red Wolves now own a 8-16 record. They take the field next when they host Argo for a South Suburban challenge on Thursday, May 9.
With the loss, Thornton Fractional North falls to 5-19 on the campaign. The Meteors host Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL) to face the Hawks in a South Suburban - Blue challenge on Monday, May 13. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 0-16.
