The Goochland Bulldogs baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Albemarle Patriots to 0 in the Bulldogs league win on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now hold a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Western Albemarle for a Jefferson test on Monday, May 12. Goochland will play a Warriors team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 10-5.

With the defeat, Albemarle drops to 3-12 on the year. The Patriots travel to Monticello (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Mustangs in a Jefferson test on Monday, May 12. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 5-10. Monticello lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Louisa County (Mineral, VA)
