The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Austin Prep Cougars (Reading, MA) and the visiting Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI), saw Austin Prep's baseball team gain a win over Mount St. Charles Academy by a tally of 5-0.
The Cougars (15-2) will now prepare for their battle against Putnam Science Academy (Putnam, CT). The enter the non-league battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Putnam Science Academy held off Winchendon (Winchendon, MA), 6-3, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Mounties face the Portsmouth Abbey Ravens (Portsmouth, RI) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 10. Mount St. Charles Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Ravens enter the battle with a 12-1 record after their 5-2 league win over Pingree (South Hamilton, MA).
