In Thursday's league bout, the Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Burnsville Blaze (Burnsville, MN), by a tally of 14-2.
Next up, the Sabers encounter the Eagan Wildcats (Eagan, MN) in a South Suburban bout, on Monday, May 12. Shakopee will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 8-10 record after their 10-6 non-league loss to Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN).
The Blaze (0-9) will now prepare for their bout against Lakeville (Lakeville, MN). The Panthers enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Lakeville was overwhelmed by Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN), 5-4, in a non-league bout.
