In Thursday's non-league game, the host Cooper Jaguars baseball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Holmes Bulldogs.

The Jaguars (8-14) will now prepare for their game against Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league game with a 15-14 record. In their last game, Dixie Heights was overwhelmed by St. Henry (Erlanger, KY), 7-6, in a league game.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Owen County Rebels (Owenton, KY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 10. Holmes will attempt to improve on its 4-20 season record. The Rebels enter the game with a 10-6 record after their 5-0 league win over Trimble County (Bedford, KY).
