The Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY) baseball trounced the visiting Prestonsburg Blackcats (Prestonsburg, KY), 10-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Golden Eagles now own a 18-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Letcher County Central for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 10. Johnson Central will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 14-10.

With the defeat, Prestonsburg drops to 8-18 on the year. The Blackcats host Cooper (Union, KY) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 9. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a record of 8-14. Cooper won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Holmes (Covington, KY)
