In Thursday's league bout, the Morris Redskins (Morris, IL) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL), by a tally of 10-2.
Next up, the Redskins encounter the Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 9. Morris will attempt to upgrade on its 18-6 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 19-8 record after their 4-3 league loss to Yorkville (Yorkville, IL).
The Knights (16-8) will now prepare for their bout against Romeoville (Romeoville, IL). The Spartans enter the non-league bout with a 14-12 record. In their last bout, Romeoville overcame Joliet West (Joliet, IL), 4-2, in a league bout.
