The Northwestern Tigers (Maple, WI) baseball trounced the visiting Ladysmith Lumberjacks (Ladysmith, WI), 11-3 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cumberland for a Heart O'North challenge on Tuesday, May 13. Northwestern will clash with a Beavers team coming off a 9-7 league win over Ladysmith (Ladysmith, WI). The Beavers record now stands at 4-13.
With the defeat, Ladysmith drops to 2-13 on the year. The Lumberjacks travel to Cameron (Cameron, WI) to clash with the Comets in a Heart O'North challenge on Saturday, May 10. The Comets go into the challenge with a record of 2-9. Cameron lost 8-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Webster (Webster, WI)
