The Padua Franciscan Bruins baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Lake Catholic Cougars to 1 in the Bruins league win on Thursday.
The Bruins now own a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Ignatius for a non-league test on Friday, May 9. Padua Franciscan will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Benedictine (Cleveland, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-4.
With the defeat, Lake Catholic drops to 15-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Nordonia (Macedonia, OH) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Friday, May 9. The Knights go into the test with a record of 3-10. Nordonia won 2-1 in their recent league test against Twinsburg (Twinsburg, OH)
