Virginia High School Baseball - Lunenburg Central wallops Randolph-Henry

In Thursday's league game, the host Lunenburg Central Chargers baseball team scored a nice 11-1 win over the Randolph-Henry Statesmen.

The Chargers (10-2) will now prepare for their game against Mecklenburg County (Baskerville, VA). The Phoenix go into the non-league game with a 6-10 record. In their last game, Mecklenburg County was overwhelmed by Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA), 9-7, in a league game.

Next, the Statesmen play the Prince Edward County Eagles (Farmville, VA) in a James River game, on Tuesday, May 13. Randolph-Henry will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 4-9 record after their 8-6 league loss to Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA).
