The Middleton Cardinals (Middleton, WI) baseball trounced the host Madison East Purgolders (Madison, WI), 12-4 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Cardinals now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host Union Grove for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 10. Middleton will clash with a Broncos team coming off a 11-1 league win over Burlington (Burlington, WI). The Broncos record now stands at 9-8.
With the defeat, Madison East drops to 0-18 on the year. The Purgolders travel to Edgewood (Madison, WI) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 10. The Crusaders go into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Edgewood won 14-2 in their recent league challenge against Stoughton (Stoughton, WI)
