The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) and the visiting Ohio County Eagles (Hartford, KY), saw Marshall County's baseball team beat Ohio County by a margin of 10-0.

The Marshals (16-8) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL). The Rams enter the non-league battle with a 9-14 record. In their last battle, Mt. Vernon was overwhelmed by Centralia (Centralia, IL), 9-7, in a league battle.

Next, the Eagles face the Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers (Harned, KY) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 9. Ohio County will attempt to improve on its 5-21 season record. The Fighting Tigers enter the battle with a 18-7 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Apollo (Owensboro, KY).
