The Minnewaska Area Lakers (Glenwood, MN) baseball trounced the host West Central Area Knights (Barrett, MN), 11-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Lakers now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fergus Falls for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 9. Minnewaska Area will clash with a Otters team coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Little Falls (Little Falls, MN). The Otters record now stands at 5-6.
With the defeat, West Central Area drops to 2-12 on the year. The Knights host Melrose (Melrose, MN) to clash with the Dutchmen in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 15. The Dutchmen go into the challenge with a record of 7-7.
