The Sand Creek Scorpions baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Mitchell Marauders to 3 in the Scorpions league win on Thursday.

The Scorpions now own a 12-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pueblo Centennial for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13.

With the defeat, Mitchell drops to 3-17 on the year. The Marauders travel to Bennett (Bennett, CO) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 13-9. Bennett won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Wellington (Wellington, CO)
