California High School Baseball - Porterville defeats Mt. Whitney

May 8, 2025: Visalia, CA 93277

In Thursday's league game, the visiting Porterville Panthers baseball team scored a close 10-4 win over the Mt. Whitney Pioneers.

The Panthers (8-19) will now prepare for their game against Monache (Porterville, CA). The Marauders go into the East Yosemite game with a 18-9 record. In their last game, Monache nudged Minarets (O'Neals, CA), 18-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Pioneers play the Redwood Rangers (Visalia, CA) in a East Yosemite game, on Tuesday, May 13. Mt. Whitney will attempt to improve on its 7-20 season record. The Rangers go into the game with a 19-7 record after their 13-0 league win over El Diamante (Visalia, CA).
