The Rising Sun Tigers baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Northeast Eagles to 2 in the Tigers non-league win on Thursday.
The Tigers now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host North East for a Upper Chesapeake Bay test on Thursday, May 8. Rising Sun will clash with a Indians team coming off a 13-3 league win over Joppatowne (Joppa, MD). The Indians record now stands at 3-12.
With the defeat, Northeast drops to 13-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD) to clash with the in a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. The go into the test with a record of 5-6. Marriotts Ridge won 16-10 in their recent non-league test against Howard (Ellicott City, MD)
