In Thursday's league game, the visiting Rappahannock Raiders baseball team scored a nice 16-0 victory over the Westmoreland Eagles.
The Raiders (14-2) will now prepare for their game against Northumberland (Heathsville, VA). The Indians enter the Northern Neck game with a 15-2 record. In their last game, Northumberland defeated Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA), 17-1, in a league game.
Next, the Eagles face the Essex Trojans (Tappahannock, VA) in a Northern Neck game, on Tuesday, May 13. Westmoreland will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 11-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, VA).
