Becton Wildcats (East Rutherford, NJ) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions (Paterson, NJ), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Becton improves its record to 6-12 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Wood-Ridge (Wood-Ridge, NJ) to face the Blue Devils in a NJIC - American test on Friday, May 9. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 8-8. Wood-Ridge won 2-0 in their recent league test against Lodi (Lodi, NJ)

The Lions now own a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garfield for a NJIC - American test on Monday, May 12. Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology will face a Boilermakers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Bergen Tech (Hackensack, NJ). The Boilermakers record now stands at 14-5.
