With the triumph, George Wythe advances its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Galax (Galax, VA) to clash with the Maroon Tide in a Mountain Empire test on Monday, May 12. The Maroon Tide come into the test with a record of 0-12. Galax lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Carroll County (Hillsville, VA)

The Eagles now have a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Chiswell for a Mountain Empire test on Monday, May 12. Auburn will clash with a Pioneers team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-10.
