The Tigers (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Alton (Alton, IL). The Redbirds enter the Southwestern battle with a 1-17 record. In their last battle, Alton by Collinsville (Collinsville, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Maroons battle the Father McGivney Catholic Griffins (Glen Carbon, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 9. Belleville West will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Griffins enter the battle with a 18-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Gibault Catholic (Waterloo, IL).
