Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Blue Valley Northwest Huskies (Overland Park, KS) and the visiting St. Teresa's Academy Stars (Kansas City, MO), saw Blue Valley Northwest's soccer squad hold off St. Teresa's Academy by a score of 1-0.

The Huskies (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop Miege (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Stags enter the Eastern Kansas battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Bishop Miege tipped Saint Thomas Aquinas (Overland Park, KS), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Stars confront the St. Michael the Archangel Guardians (Lee's Summit, MO) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 13. St. Teresa's Academy will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record.
