The Glenvar Highlanders baseball squad (Salem, VA), was overwhelmed 13-3 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA)

With the triumph, Northside moves its record to 4-12 on the season. The Vikings host Staunton River (Moneta, VA) to confront the Golden Eagles in a non-league contest on Friday, May 9. The Golden Eagles come into the contest with a record of 5-7. Staunton River lost 11-5 in their recent non-league contest against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA)
