In Thursday's league bout, the Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Green Bulldogs (Uniontown, OH), by a tally of 10-1.
Next up, the Vikings encounter the Perry Panthers (Massillon, OH) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 15. Hoover will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record.
The Bulldogs (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH). The Falcons enter the non-league bout with a 9-2 record. In their last bout, Austintown-Fitch achieved victory over Hubbard (Hubbard, OH), 12-2, in a non-league bout.
