The Wayland Wildcats baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Wyoming Wolves to 0 in the Wildcats non-league win on Thursday.

The Wildcats now hold a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coopersville for a non-league test on Monday, May 12. Wayland will play a Broncos team coming off a 13-3 league loss to Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI). The Broncos record now stands at 7-8.

With the defeat, Wyoming drops to 0-9 on the year. The Wolves travel to Cedar Springs (Cedar Springs, MI) to play the Red Hawks in a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. The Red Hawks go into the test with a record of 8-8. Cedar Springs won 7-5 in their recent non-league test against Sparta (Sparta, MI)
