The Western Albemarle Warriors held off the host Fluvanna County Flying Flucos soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the Warriors face the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 13. Western Albemarle will attempt to advance on its 10-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 4-7 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA).
The Flying Flucos (4-9) will now prepare for their game against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets come into the non-league game with a 4-11 record. In their last game, Orange County edged Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
