In Thursday's league test, the Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Mercer County Golden Eagles (Aledo, IL), by a count of 15-3.

Next, the Rams meet the Sherrard Tigers (Sherrard, IL) in a test, on Saturday, May 10. Riverdale will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record.

The Golden Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Brimfield (Brimfield, IL). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Brimfield toppled Farmington (Farmington, IL), 10-0, in a league test.
