Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Scotia-Glenville Tartans (Scotia, NY) and the host Amsterdam Rams (Amsterdam, NY), witnessed Scotia-Glenville's lacrosse squad overcome Amsterdam by a count of 15-8.

The Tartans (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Glens Falls (Glens Falls, NY). The Black Bears enter the Section 2 Foothills contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Glens Falls was overwhelmed by Queensbury (Queensbury, NY), 5-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Rams meet the Voorheesville Blackbirds (Voorheesville, NY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 10. Amsterdam will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Blackbirds enter the contest with a 11-1 record after their 13-10 league loss to Stillwater (Stillwater, NY).
