The Lakers now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host Powers Catholic for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 10. Spring Lake will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 10-9 non-league win over Central (Bay City, MI). The Chargers record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Catholic Central falls to 3-11 on the year. The Cougars travel to Grandville (Grandville, MI) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 13. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Grandville lost 11-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI)
