The Bobcats (7-12) will now prepare for their match against Floyd Central (Eastern, KY). The Jaguars come into the non-league match with a 15-8 record. In their last match, Floyd Central was routed by Lawrence County (Louisa, KY), 11-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Tigers confront the Lee County Bobcats (Beattyville, KY) in a non-league match, on Friday, May 9. Jackson City will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Bobcats come into the match with a 7-12 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Jackson County (McKee, KY).
