The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA) and the visiting Stone Bridge Bulldogs (Ashburn, VA), observed Briar Woods's softball team get by Stone Bridge by a tally of 6-1.

The Falcons (11-5) will now prepare for their bout against Broad Run (Ashburn, VA). The Spartans go into the non-league bout with a 8-8 record. In their last bout, Broad Run tipped Freedom (South Riding, VA), 6-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Riverside Ram (Leesburg, VA) in a Potomac bout, on Tuesday, May 13. Stone Bridge will attempt to advance on its 0-10 season record. The Ram go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 9-5 league win over Independence (Ashburn, VA).
