The Pirates now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Salem for a Mid-Southern outing on Monday, May 12. Charlestown will encounter a Lions team coming off a 12-9 non-league loss to Madison (Madison, IN). The Lions record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Brownstown Central moves to 6-11 on the season. The Braves travel to Trinity Lutheran (Seymour, IN) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 9. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 1-8. Trinity Lutheran lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Columbus East (Columbus, IN)
