Kentucky High School Softball - Caldwell County drops to Christian County

Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Caldwell County Tigers (Princeton, KY), 15-5 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Christian County improves its record to 17-17 on the year. The Colonels host Calloway County (Murray, KY) to face the Lakers in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 13. The Lakers enter the game with a record of 3-23.

The Tigers now hold a 11-12 record. They play next when they travel to Webster County for a non-league game on Friday, May 9. Caldwell County will face a Trojans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 10-14.
