The Castlewood Warriors overwhelmed the visiting Colman-Egan C-E Hawks softball squad by a count of 13-1 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Sioux Valley Cossacks (Volga, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 9. Castlewood will attempt to upgrade on its 13-3 season record. The Cossacks go into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 19-1 league win over Sisseton (Sisseton, SD).

The C-E Hawks (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Milbank (Milbank, SD). The Bulldogs go into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Milbank was routed by Deuel (Clear Lake, SD), 15-0, in a non-league challenge.
