The Century Panthers softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Mayo Spartans to 0 in the Panthers league win on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeville South for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 10. Century will confront a Cougars team coming off a 12-3 league loss to Farmington (Farmington, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Mayo moves to 9-5 on the season. The Spartans host Albert Lea (Albert Lea, MN) to confront the Tigers in a Big 9 battle on Tuesday, May 13. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 6-8. Albert Lea won 6-1 in their recent non-league battle against St. Peter (St. Peter, MN)
